GIS Pro leveraged its expertise in web mapping technologies and asset management to tailor a cost effective GIS solution for the Esperance gas pipeline company.
The Challenge
The Worley Parson team managing the Esperance gas pipeline and distribution network contacted GIS Pro to modernise their internal GIS solution.
The main requirements were focusing on having a productive GIS system, easy to use, allowing both management and technical staff to edit and update data in real-time.
The Solution
GIS Pro delivered a fully functional web GIS interface, that streamlined data collection workflows and data management tasks.
The solution deployed met strong security requirements and allowed the staff to become fully autonomous with GIS from the get go.
The Outcome
In the first 10 months the app was used on a daily basis by a team of four to print high quality maps, collect data on the field, import and export GIS layers.
